These Terms & Conditions govern your use of fantasyfootballer.co.uk and any order you place with us. Please read them carefully before ordering. By placing an order you agree to these terms.
1. Who we are
The website and the personalised football books are provided by Fantasy Footballer Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 12578824), registered office 31 Wyles Street, Gillingham, Kent, ME7 1NB. You can reach us at hello@fantasyfootballer.co.uk or on 07770 700802.
2. Our products
We create personalised, made-to-order football books. Every book is illustrated by real human artists — we do not use AI-generated images or storytelling. Our books are inspired-by, fan-made products and are not official merchandise of, nor endorsed or licensed by, any football club. Club names, colours and related trademarks remain the property of their respective owners and are used only to identify the team your book is themed around.
3. Placing an order
When you order, you will be asked to provide the personalisation details for your book (such as the child’s name, gender, appearance, chosen club and any message). Please check these details carefully before you pay — because each book is made to your specification, we produce it exactly as you enter it.
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we send you an order confirmation. If we cannot fulfil an order (for example, an item is unavailable or there is an obvious pricing error), we will contact you and offer a full refund.
4. Accuracy of personalisation
You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you enter, including the spelling of names and any personal message. As our books are printed to order, we cannot offer a refund or free replacement for errors in the information you supplied. If you spot a mistake, contact us as quickly as possible and we will do everything we can to correct it before production begins.
5. Prices and payment
Prices are shown on the website in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. Payment is taken securely at checkout by our payment providers (Stripe and WooPayments). We may update prices from time to time, but changes will not affect an order we have already confirmed.
6. Delivery
We will begin making your book once your order is confirmed and aim to dispatch it as promptly as possible. Any delivery estimate given at checkout is an estimate, not a guarantee. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. If your order has not arrived within a reasonable time, please contact us and we will help track it.
7. Cancellations, refunds & returns
Because our books are personalised and made specifically to your specification, they are exempt from the standard 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, once production has begun. This does not affect your legal rights where an item is faulty (see below).
Cancelling before production
If you change your mind, contact us as soon as possible. If we have not yet started producing your book, we will cancel your order and issue a full refund.
Faulty, damaged or incorrect items
Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 always apply. If your book arrives faulty, damaged, misprinted, or is not what you ordered (through our error), you are entitled to a replacement or a refund. Please email hello@fantasyfootballer.co.uk within 30 days of receiving your order, with your order number and a photograph of the problem. We will arrange a free replacement or a full refund, including any delivery cost you paid, and we will not ask you to pay return postage for a faulty item.
How refunds are paid
Approved refunds are made to your original payment method, normally within 14 days. Depending on your bank, it may take a few extra days to appear on your statement.
8. Intellectual property
All original artwork, story content and website material is owned by Fantasy Footballer Ltd or its illustrators and may not be copied or reproduced without our permission. The personalised book is supplied for personal, non-commercial use.
9. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law — including your statutory rights as a consumer. Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, or that arise from your own error in the details you supplied.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Nothing here affects the consumer-protection rights available to you where you live.
